When the memorial piece is finished, it will serve as an honorable tribute to those who died in the attacks on New York, Washington, DC, and Pennsylvania. All who look upon The Americana Stars Memorial will be reminded of their heroic legacy and of how America did not bow down to the cowardly murderers who despise freedom and our way of life.

She explains: "I now have enough stitchers who have volunteered to assist me and I am building a waiting list of additional stitchers in case any of them cannot continue. However, I am very much in need of any gift contributions that your readers and customers could spare, as I do not have any funding at this time and have been supporting this memorial with my savings for the past 3 years. All gifts will be gratefully acknowledged. Any gifts of $20.00 and over will receive a memorial project thank you note that will be suitable for framing. Thank you for your help with this memorial."
